How to add False Ceiling


1. Login to your Foyr Neo account on www.foyr.com or get an account simply by signing up.

2. Use the ‘Wall’ tool or ‘Room’ tool to draw walls on the canvas.
Note: The nib-shaped Wall tool on the context bar helps you draw walls (as circled below).Room tool helps you draw square or rectangular walls on a floor plan.

3. Click on ‘Ceiling Plan mode’ on the right side of the page. The Ceiling Plan Mode helps you add all ceiling items such as false ceiling, ceiling texture, chandeliers, fans etc.to your ceiling. You can also change colour, texture, clone and re-size the ceiling item as per your requirement.

4. Click on Catalogue→Building→Ceiling Designs, to view false ceiling designs.

5. Shortlist your designs by clicking on the heart-shaped icon next designs. You can choose from Geometric, Organic, Composites, Gypsum, Wooden, and acoustic options.

6. Click on ‘Shortlist’ icon on the left column of the page.

7. Click on the shortlisted ceiling. Drag and drop the ceiling on the canvas in the Ceiling plan mode.

8. To edit dimensions of your false ceiling, left click on the ceiling. A context bar appears where you have to click on the 'Edit Properties' Button.

                                                                         

9.  You can change the length, width and height of your false ceiling by inserting values in corresponding boxes.

                                                                          

1  10. To view your false ceiling design, switch to the 3D mode.





        11. To zoom in and take a closer look at your ceiling, double-click on your ceiling.
