You can either go to a previously designed project or start with a new one.
Select various components for your project from the Catalogue and add to the shortlist.
Drag and drop items from the shortlist into your design and place where required.
Once you’ve placed the components, in the 3D mode, lock them to the docking plane by selecting the component and clicking the unlocked lock in the ‘Context Bar’. This will ensure that the products that you place will not hover in mid air when viewed in 3D mode.
The product can also be unlocked from the docking plane by clicking on the lock in the ‘Context Bar’.
Now you know how to prevent objects from floating and how to ground them to a docking plane on your 3D floor plan. This applies to the 3D mode in particular and when setting views before rendering.
This video explains about the docking plane in your floor plan, and from 0:46 shows you how to use the docking plane to prevent objects from hovering in space.
